Lots of new and fun changes to go over this week for Disney parks.
The Magic Kingdom recently retired its ten-year run of “Dream Along With Mickey”— the live stage show in front of Cinderella’s castle. The shows replacement “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” made its début on Friday. Mickey has invited all his friends over including some of the newly introduced royalty Rapunzel, Tiana, Anna and, Elsa for a festival which leads to several dance numbers, new songs and, special effects. The show plays daily with multiple opportunities throughout the day to catch it.
New changes to the Character meet and greets at Princess Fairytale Hall. Princesses, Tiana and, Aurora, have taken the place of Anna and Elsa now that they have moved to their permanent home in Epcot.
Soarin’ around the World debuted last Friday and features scenes from across the globe. The new Digital version is much crisper than the previous one, transitions between locations are much smoother, the smells are all updated for the new scenes yet, the soundtrack remains the same as the last film.
Frozen Ever After opened earlier this week. This boat ride will sail through the wintry wonderland of Arendelle. Guests will join Olaf, Anna, Elsa and all the rest of lovable Frozen characters for a breathtaking tour and retelling of their story.
The cozy Royal Sommerhus in the Norway Pavillion is now the meet and greet area for the sisters of Arendelle Anna and Elsa.
A new Firework show “Star Wars a Galactic Spectacular” is now playing nightly through the end of summer. Featuring lasers, fireworks, dynamic lighting and, state-of-the-art projections on and around the Chinese Theater all set to the time-honored Star Wars soundtrack.
With all these updated shows and new attractions, this is the perfect time to start thinking about heading to Disney to experience them yourself!
