New for 2017 Disney Cruise Line will invite guests to unite and celebrate the heroic experiences of the legendary Super Heroes and Villains from the Marvel Universe during an all-new, day-long celebration: Marvel Day at Sea.

Each sailing on the Disney Magic will offer one action-packed day where guests will be transported to a new dimension of possibilities when the Marvel Universe gathers on the ship. There will be all-day entertainment including personal interactions with some of the most powerful Marvel Super Heroes along with their menacing foes that oppose them. An extraordinary deck party will also take place as well as Marvel-themed youth activities, exclusive merchandise, and unique food and drink offerings as well.

Aulani

Disney’s newest heroine, Moana, has arrived at Aulani, a Disney Resort, and Spa. Guests can indulge in the spirit of adventure and awe of Hawai’i with exciting activities, enchanting fireside storytelling, makeover transformations, character meet-and-greets and more!

Epcot

A 6-foot-tall topiary of Figment balancing on a floral ball will be just one of the firsts delights you will be greeted with at this spring’s Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at Walt Disney World Resort. An impressive ninety days of bright blooms and whimsical creations for all of the senses begin March 1, 2017. Guests can also sample a variety of delicious dishes, desserts and specialty drinks at 13 enticing stations— including two new Outdoor Kitchens located throughout World Showcase. Friday through Monday you can grab a seat for the Garden Rocks concert series at the America Gardens Theatre. More concert information coming soon.

Disney Extras:

A new culinary adventure around the monorail loop makes its début today. The new Highway in the Sky Dine—Around offers guests a culinary journey around the monorail resorts. The tour will begin at The Wave…of American Flavors inside the Contemporary Resort for check-in and then guests will board the monorail to be whisked off to Disney’s Polynesian Resort where they will indulge on some island-inspired sips and appetizers. Next stop is the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa where guests will dine at the award-winning Cítricos. Artisanal cheeses and sparkling wine provided in the lavish lobby after dinner. The last stop will be at Disney’s Contemporary Resort where guests will enjoy dessert, cordials, and coffee on a private patio offering a perfect view of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

Reservations are now offered for this dining experience available on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The cost including valet parking is $150 plus tax and gratuity.

The Atlanta Braves will return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort for the 20th annual spring training in mid-February. The spring season will open against the Blue Jay’s February 25, 2017. The season schedule will include matchups against some favorite teams—The Red Sox, Orioles, Mets, Yankees, Phillies, Tigers, Astros, Cardinals, Marlins, Pirates and the Orioles. Tickets go on sale on Dec. 12 at braves.com/springtraining, as well as through Ticketmaster outlets {800-745-3000} and atESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Box Office.
